Just been stolen!!!!
Should have updated this 2 years ago: the police recovered it after a friend saw it – amazingly! A major plus point in being so distinctive. It wasn’t damaged. They didn’t get the thief 🙁
In London many many bikes get stolen everyday and disappear without trace, so I consider myself very lucky.
Kudos to Independent Fabrication for taking my frame back and replacing the chainstays for free after cracks in the titanium appeared.
Don’t know what I was talking about in 2016. The police did catch the thief and he got 30 hours of community work. Justice? Guess it depends on what the community work was – breaking up rocks under the hot sun would have been my choice.
