Once your correspondence has been received and processed, your IF will be added to the register. We'll then email you with a user account and password to access the members only area.
If your question isn’t answered here please contact the admin team.
Q: Where can I find the frame number of my bike?
A: The frame number is on the underside of the bottom bracket shell. You’ll need to turn the bike upside down to find it.
Q: Once I submit my application and photos, how long until my IF appears on the site?
A: The site is not automated in terms of adding new bikes to the register. There may be a delay of up to a week between your application being submitted and received and your bikes appearing. Once your application has been processed you will be sent an e-mail.
Q: I have several IF bikes. How do I go about registering them?
A: You only become a member once, but you still need to provide your full details and you need to register each bike individually - then do the next one. You can upload as many pictures of your bikes as you like, but at least one photo of each bike is required.
Q: Once I’ve registered an Independent Fabrication can I update, replace and add images as it evolves?
A: Once you’ve registered a bike you can send in a new photo of it whenever you want. Just send in an e-mail and attach the photo(s). There are currently no plans to allow users to modify their data directly or automate the site further.
Q: How do I make the pictures of bikes within the IF register bigger? I click the picture but it still stays tiny.
A: For each bike in the register there’s the following information:
Description: Ti Crown Jewel
Owner: Fat Boy Slim
From: Massachusetts, USA
Paint: Candy Red with Script Logos
Photos: 1 , 2 , 3
You can get bigger pictures of the bikes by clicking on the numbers in the ‘photo’ section.
