IFBRO2010 a Big Success Posted on July 4th 2010

IFBRO2010

Reports back from those that made the trip to Asheville, North Carolina is that the first ever Independent Fabrication Big Ride Out (IFBRO) was a brilliant success. Joe Ingram of IF has described the riding as Epic and admits that it’s a word that’s overused to a ludicrous extent but it is a perfect way to describe it. Asheville’s local environment delivered long hard climbs and long hard descents, but everyone had a great time.

Unfortunately Dave Bradley had to bail early into the weekend when a family member was hospitalized and Cris Bloomfield was unable to get over to the US due to a delivering the great news to his family and in-laws that a baby is on the way. So with everyone having had such a great time this year, we’re going to have to think about doing it again…

Finally a big thanks to everyone who attended, particularly Matt from Biowheels who provided local knowledge!
