Terry Larrazabal Bikefest Posted on March 24th 2008

photoThere’s only ten days to go to the 2008 Terry Larrazabal Bike Festival in the Philippines. Now in it’s sixth year the event is the only multi-discipline bikefest of its kind in the Philippines and Asia. Running over three days it includes road, mountain bike downhill, mountain bike cross-country races, plus trials, and BMX freestyle and jumping. For the first time ever in its history, this year’s edition of the TLBF also includes a triathlon.

For 2008 the TLBF will be held in Subic and is expecting 1,200 riders. There will also be a Cycling Expo, dubbed, FilBike, the first bicycle and outdoor themed expo, featuring all kinds of bicycles and equipment as well as bike riding and bike maintenance clinics. Hans “No Way” Rey, former UCI World Champion and Mountain Bike Hall of Famer and Brian Lopes, current UCI 4X World Champion will also be participating in the 2008 Terry Larrazabal Bike Festival. Hans will again perform trials demos and clinics, and be the chief judge of the Trials Comp.

Event Director Gregorio Larrazabal is an IF Owner and will be representing Independent Fabrication at the event through his store, Pinoy Bikes.
