Latest IF News Posted on January 14th 2011

The latest news from the Indy Fab HQ is that expert welder Keith Rouse is rejoining IF from Monday.  Keith started welding titanium at Merlin and spent many years at IF before moving on to pursue new ventures.

This means that there’s now a very experienced core team at IF led by Shawn Estes (welder and fabricator), and featuring Brian Kelly (expert fabricator), Chris Rowe (lead painter), Ron Gainer (fabrication/brazing), and Keith Rouse (expert welder). Brian, Chris and Keith have all come back to be part of the future in New Hampshire and are stoked about the direction.

Over a month ago Jesse Fox was hired to provide support for day to day operations.  Jesse has worked in top shops including NYC Velo and Portland’s Bike Gallery. He’s a certified fitter, a graduate of UBI’s frame-building course and Mike Flanigan’s seminar, and has a masters from Stanford.  Jesse’s tasked with working with customers to design bikes and managing materials procurement.

Finally, Toni Smith (Gary’s wife), who’s a university professor in finance and accounting, has taken over the front end administration. So plenty to be excited about, there’s certainly a very positive vibe eminating from the team. I’m sure the bikes will speak for themselves as always.
