    Okay, try to follow this.

    I was the manager of a restaurant in Pittsford New York – a guy who worked with me (I think he was a waiter or busboy) named Peter Stromeier (sp?) was a junior racer who told me that he knew Greg Lemond and rode with him in Europe. Told me that he & LeMond would stay at the homes of local families who would take in riders – and that Lemond was a real wild kid.

    So back in the 1980’s I worked with a guy who knew Greg LeMond.

    Or I worked with a guy who made it all up!?
