Comments: Tyler Evans writes: The Alfine bike is a bike for a competition that Shimano is having to showcase its new group called Alfine. We were asked to compete against some other small builders and will find out if we have won by the end of the week. I built this bike for my wife. The winner gets the bike flown all over the world to show it off at events. It is an 8 speed internal geared hub with hydraulic disc brakes. She is going to come by today to give it a test ride!
