Comments: I purchased a Club Racer through ‘Eagle Wheel” in 2004. I have mostly used it as a “fast” club ride bike, no racing. I have kept 2 sets of wheels. Performance Campy Proton, (nothing stupid light) & 36 spoke 3 cross A 719’s. I swap the wheels as the ride and conditions call for.

For the first time last weekend I slapped on the A 719s loaded it up with front & rear racks, 40 pounds of camping gear & took off. She handled the load as well as my dedicated touring bike. The two exceptions were toe overlap and steering a bit too crisp. I am short so overlap is part of the deal. I also know you can’t have bike steering for both touring & performance though my IF comes pretty darn close.

After eight years it’s still hats off to Indy Fab.
