I'll keep an eye out for it in DC & VA…… you never know….
Commiserations anyway…
Andy CorsoMemberBet she does the ‘ol split invoice thing with her shoe purchases?
Andy CorsoMemberMine was a Carpenter, painted in Bianchi Celeste… a little known framebuilder in the UK, that too was back in the seventies.
I went everywhere on it, joined a club, raced it for a few years, discovered beer and women and sold it…… what an idiot.
Andy CorsoMemberMike … I take my hat off to you for sparking up this forum
Double digit post thread…. whodda thunk it?
Andy CorsoMemberKen, Fatty’s homage is just brilliant, however it’s not my size
Andy CorsoMemberCris, looks good eh?…. love the MPG clips and the fresh new look, hopefully they’ll keep the Blog regularly updated.
Andy CorsoMemberMike, I kinda see where you’re coming from. I was quite disappointed when I heard Matt Bracken had left and saw Gary as being someone who might ‘water down’ the brand. This opinion has changed since following Gary’s posts on http://www.velocipedesalon.com (a Forum with quite a few industry folk posting).
Dave’s experience of talking with Gary echoes what I’ve read in Gary’s posts…. he really is interested in IF on a personal level, not just for it’s investment potential.
I think IF will grow with Gary on board, wether you believe that is a good thing or not is of course up to you.
Keep the Faith
Andy
Andy CorsoMember@Dave, I read That the key facet in IF being able to offer custom full carbon frames is that of EDGE being able to produce different carbon lugs from adjustable molds. Is this the same way that Colnago manages it? anyone know….. just interested.
Whatever, the EDGE IF ones look way cool with the crown shape…..even ‘edgy’ LOL
Andy CorsoMemberAwesome pics……the CJ full carbon proto looks fully sorted to me, hopefully it won;t take too long to make it into production.
